This was taken from a photograph while cross country skiing near where I lived high in the San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado.  Our winters would so often be bright and sunny and an absolute delight to be out enjoying.  I hope with this watercolor was to capture the beauty of the day and the crispness of the air.
